2. Programme Objective

The Greenbud Expert Pool Programme aims to strengthen the organization’s ability to deliver high-quality environmental, social, climate, and sustainability services by creating a collaborative network of multidisciplinary professionals. As Greenbud continues to work with international development partners such as the World Bank, ADB, GIZ, UNDP, IFC, and other global institutions, the programme is designed to ensure timely access to specialized expertise that supports complex and high-value project needs.

To achieve this, the programme will engage experts to:

a) Provide specialized technical support in environmental assessment, energy efficiency, climate resilience, resource management, social development, and research-based consulting to enhance the quality and depth of project deliverables.
b) Enable Greenbud to respond effectively to diverse client and development-partner requirements by mobilizing expert skills that address complex technical needs, mitigate project risks, and uphold global best practices.
c) Foster collaboration among consultants, researchers, academicians, and sector professionals, unlocking shared learning, improved project performance, and expanded opportunities for innovation, capacity development, and knowledge exchange.

3. Scope of Work

The scope of work under the Greenbud Expert Pool Programme will vary depending on project-specific requirements. Experts may be engaged in research and literature review, environmental or social assessments, baseline data collection, field investigations, hydrological or ecological surveys, technical analysis, report drafting, impact evaluation, or stakeholder and community engagement.

Assignments may also involve technical review of documents, preparation of proposals, or contributions to specialized thematic assessments. Each role will be aligned with project needs and the expert’s professional strengths to ensure meaningful and effective contributions.

4. Eligibility Criteria

The Greenbud Expert Pool Programme invites highly qualified professionals from a wide spectrum of disciplines to support its expanding portfolio of environmental, social, climate, and sustainability-focused assignments. Experts from fields such as social sciences, gender and inclusion, resettlement, biodiversity conservation, hydrology, geology, occupational health and safety, GIS and remote sensing, financial modelling, economic and policy analysis, engineering, urban and regional planning, and sustainability research are encouraged to apply.

Applicants may select one or multiple thematic categories based on their experience and cross-cutting expertise.

5. Working Procedure

Experts will be engaged at different stages of the project lifecycle based on assignment requirements. When Greenbud intends to involve an expert before the submission of a proposal, a kick-off meeting will be organized to align expectations, responsibilities, and timelines, and the expert’s hours will be counted from the date of that meeting.

Throughout the engagement, communication will remain streamlined, with project-specific tasks clearly defined and shared through an organized coordination process. This structured approach ensures transparency, clarity in deliverables, and smooth collaboration between Greenbud’s core team and the expert network.

7. Remuneration

Remuneration for experts will be negotiable, based on the project’s scope, required expertise, engagement level, and man-day calculation.
