A Practical, GRI-Aligned ESG Reporting Program for the Apparel & Textile Industry.

1. Company Background

Established in 2012, Greenbud is one of Bangladesh’s leading sustainability and environmental consultancy firms, trusted for its technical expertise and 13 years of industry experience. The firm has delivered more than 1,550 projects, including 550+ consultancy assignments and 2,200 environmental inspections, supporting 200+ brands and 800+ clients across the RMG, textile, manufacturing, and development sectors.

Our core strengths include GRI-aligned ESG reporting, sustainability reporting as per buyer requirements, environmental inspection, carbon footprint assessment, energy auditing, and resource efficiency. Greenbud is supported by an in-house team of qualified GRI professionals and ESG specialists who guide industries in improving governance, strengthening compliance, and adopting cleaner technologies.

We have extensive training and capacity-building experience in the RMG and textile sector, helping factories develop ESG systems, improve data collection practices, and prepare credible sustainability disclosures. Greenbud also supports industries in progressing toward Science-Based Targets (SBTi) and long-term decarbonization. Through our technical depth and hands-on support, we enable organizations to enhance transparency, improve environmental performance, and align with global sustainability expectations.

2. Program Objective

Global apparel buyers and international supply chain partners are increasingly prioritizing transparency, responsible sourcing, and credible ESG reporting. As reporting expectations grow, many factories continue to face challenges due to limited technical expertise, inconsistent data systems, and a lack of structured reporting processes.

To support the sector and close this capability gap, Greenbud is launching the Pro Bono ESG Bootcamp 2025, a four-month, fully guided program designed to equip apparel and textile factories with the knowledge, tools, and hands-on support required to prepare a GRI-aligned ESG Report. This initiative aims to strengthen factory-level sustainability practices and enhance competitiveness in the global market.

The primary objective of the Bootcamp is to empower factory teams to independently prepare their own GRI-aligned ESG Report through practical, hands-on training, guided assignments, and step-by-step reporting support. The program is intended for apparel and textile factories including knit, woven, sweater, denim, and composite units and is suitable for factory management representatives, compliance teams, ESG focal persons, sustainability officers, HR/admin staff responsible for data collection, and group-level governance professionals involved in reporting.
