GREENBUD provides independent Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) Verification for eligible manufacturing facilities. As a Cascale-approved Higg FEM Verifier Body, we review reported environmental information and supporting evidence to help facilities share more credible, consistent, and reliable performance data with buyers and supply chain partners.
What Is Higg FEM Verification?
The Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM) is an environmental assessment tool within the Higg Index suite stewarded by Cascale. Used by manufacturing facilities across the apparel, textile, footwear, and related supply chains, it provides a common framework for collecting and reporting environmental management and performance information.
Higg FEM Verification is an independent review of a facility’s completed self-assessment by an approved Verifier Body. Using relevant documentation, operating records, interviews, and facility observations where applicable, a qualified verifier checks the accuracy of reported answers under the applicable verification protocol. Verification is not a certification or a guarantee of a particular score.

Independent Verification
The verifier evaluates relevant answers and supporting evidence through onsite assessment or an eligible desktop/offsite approach, as permitted by the applicable protocol.
Review, Finalize & Share
Verification results are completed on the platform. The facility reviews and finalizes its results and may share permitted verified information with supply chain partners in line with platform and communication rules.
